Elowen Events Styled Shoot || Emerald Hills Events Center

Styled Shoots are always such a treat for us to take part in. This is where we really get to play and have fun. Often times, we are given a general mood board or style guide, and then trusted with the design based off of that. With our world the way it is today, and many weddings and events up in the air, we’ve had a bit more flexibility to participate in these fun shoots! And this is one of our favorites at one of our favorite venues!

The photographer for this shoot wanted to wait until the lighting was perfect. We waited for the “golden hour”, and these photos could not have been more stunning. This boho style, leaning into all the neutrals and textures, is making all of our dreams come true. One of our favorite aspects of this shoot outside of the florals was the stationery. So incredibly beautiful and unique, and so fitting of the vibe of the shoot. And moving back to florals, one of our favorite pieces was the cake! We’d never done a design like this, and with the design freedom that comes with styled shoots, we were able to create something new and beautiful!

We loved taking part in this shoot with some of our favorite vendors. Looking through this gallery, we are reminiscing on those warm summer days as the weather gets cooler here in Iowa.
