Natalie & Nick || Cedar Rapids Country Club

Where do I begin. Nick and Natalie had a very specific vision for their day. A day Natalie has been dreaming about for a very long time. First, they chose the Cedar Rapids Country Club as their venue. Natalie grew up going to the country club and held many dear memories in this place. So it seemed like the perfect choice!

Natalie went dress shopping, and ended up walking away with TWO of the most stunning dresses for her big day. The first, she surprised Nick in for their first look, and later wore during the reception. The second, she walked down the aisle in as another surprise for her sweet groom! Before their closest family and friends, they were married in the church Natalie and her family grew up in.

Natalie was very specific with the color palette she wanted. Red and pink were the focals. These colors paired together used to be a fashion faux pas. Now, they are the seasons hottest trend and Natalie foresaw that! We brought those colors in, in her bouquets, her ceremony pieces, and all over her reception. We were able to do something we had never done before with the large floral focal over her head table at the reception.

The wedding and reception were stunning and her photographer, Logan Clement, couldn’t have captured it more perfectly. We are so grateful to work with brides that trust us to make their vision a reality! Congratulations Natalie & Nick!
